Thrive Sri Lanka has crossed the 100,000 meals mark! We are so grateful to our donors and volunteers, as well as the amazing schools in our Sustainable Community Foods program, for making this milestone possible for kids and rural communities. Onward!

In August, I visted Sri Lanka and had the opportunity to visit the sites of two of our programs - the Sustainable Community Food program at the Kadugama School and the Thelessemia Support Program at the Anuradhapura Hospital. Here are some of my learnings. These communities are really struggling. Many of these children have so little, and food every day is a challenge. At the hospital, children come in for treatment whose lives are likely to not reach past the teenage years.
